Visitors to the People's Republic of China must obtain a visa from one of the Chinese diplomatic missions (Chinese Embassy/Consulate General/Consulate/Office) unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries.
You’d better have a visa ready before departure in case of entry problems at immigration. When you lodge visa application at China Embassy, a visa invitation letter issued by China side may be required as one of the necessary documents. However, there are various forms of visa invitation letters issued by different organizations, which can be approved by Travel Agent or local Tourism Administration etc. Clients are suggested to check with China embassy in their country which kind is accepted and provide us a sample so that we can check it’s availability accordingly.

Visa on Arrival Service Procedure:
- Provide a clear scan copy of passport bio page via fax or e-mail
- Verification by visa officer within 1-3 working days
- Approved and proceed with payment (**If the application was rejected, clients will be informed the same immediately)
- Provide further documents: Occupation, Purpose of Visit, Return Air Ticket, Travel Itinerary and Hotel Confirmation or Address in China
- Receive visa invitation letter and print out as traveling papers
- Arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport,& greet by airport staff holding your name as welcome sign
- Staff assist to fill in a form before login in passport & photo
- Visa approval and go through the immigration

Passengers holding below passport are not eligible for Visa-on-arrival: Diplomatic\Service or Temparary passport; Validity less than 6-month from the date of arrival; Passport with a J-1\J-2 record; Visa refusal or restricted stay record by China, Hong Kong or Macau; Valid visa cancelled by Frontier Inspection Authority; No blank page.
Visa-on-Arrival can be failed by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to government policy adjustment, departure unreleased, airlines rejection, emergencies, wars and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control.
Passengers bear all the consequence and responsibility if repatriation happens when failed to get the visa-on-arrival due to any personal reasons, such as a fake passport, inconsistent with the holder, appearance change, wrong information, etc.
