Shiji Village, Huangpu Village, Huangpu Old Port; Xiaozhou Village

ITINERARY PROPOSAL:

Pick up at your hotel at 09:00am. Transfer to visit Shiji Village, Huangpu Village and Huangpu Old Port. Shiji was originally a sleeping fishing village, which didn’t gain much attention until 2006 when the famous Gothenburg ship of Sweden visited the Huangpu Old Port. As one of the original ports of the reputed Maritime Silk Road, the Huangpu Old Port has witnessed the prosperity of this maritime trade route. Huangpu Village, where the old port was located, had played a critical role in Guangzhou's foreign trade.

After lunch, continue visit to Xiaozhou Village, which features classical Cantonese community landscapes by water, including canals, well-kept ancient buildings, bridges and local folkways. Nowadays it has become the new cultural center of Guangzhou as more and more artists, writers, photographers and college students live, work and visit the scenic Xiaozhou Village. Later, transfer back to your hotel. (Lunch)
